| Prayer for Pastors Psalm 97:1-2 The LORD reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice. Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. NIV Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end . He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. NIV Jeremiah
9:23-24 This is what the LORD says: "Let not the
wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of
his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let
him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and
knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I
delight," declares the LORD. NIV Heavenly Father, We pray and intercede for the welfare of our pastoral leadership this day. That they would love you Lord, with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their mind, and with all their strength. Considering the times in which we live, that they would begin the process of immersing themselves in your Holy word without measure. That your grace, mercy and divine favor would surround them. We pray for your special provision and divine protection for each of our pastors and their families. In addition, as we look forward, we pray that our pastoral leaders would be raised to the level of importance and influence in our society, as that of the pastors of the founding era of our nation. Our prayer is that Your righteousness and justice would flow from Your throne, through Jesus Christ our Lord, and into the pulpits of our land. That our Pastors would proclaim , promote, and (most importantly) model personal righteousness and justice to our congregations and social righteousness and justice to the leaders of every sphere of our society, governments and institutions as well. Prepare us now for the great end time harvest of souls. Times when most every member of our society will need and want entrance to a local church and to be part of the family of God. Refine and reform our methods to accomplish this now, in total conformity to your word , your will and your ways, we pray, In
the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen. WEBSTER'S UNABRIDGED DICTIONARY Justice 1.The quality of
