Heavenly Father, We pray and intercede for the welfare of our families this day. Recognizing that the family is the building block of Godly society, we pray for a return of the role of our families to the divine institution that it once was.

Where marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. A loving heterosexual, monogamous, lifetime, covenant relationship. Where there is no thought of divorce or adultery nor any desire to act in any way that would destroy that union.

Where women are raised to their proper role above that of servants or second class citizens. Strategically partnered with their husbands to accomplish the vital roles assigned to them.

Where the loving bond of Christ unites them to with-
stand all attemps to destroy and separate the familiy unit. We ask that you would help us to insist on the bond of Christ uniting our families. And to realize that relying only on natural affection is not enough to hold them together and will ultimately result in failure. Where there is a self-denying love existing between us that causes our members to have a greater concern for others than themselvles and is stronger even than death.

Where parents see children as a gift of the Lord and not just an inconvience. That we would prepare our children to love and obey You, seek to live as You command and to fulfill Your will for their lives. Help us to model for our children their first school, first church, first business, and first government. To develop character and knowledge, to have ministry, to learn to work, and to govern their lives and lead others. Help us also to realize that our homes are not just places to escape and relax or take refuge from the world. But divinely established to fulfill Your plan for our lives and our nation.

We pray that Your grace, mercy and divine favor would surround our families. We pray for Your special provision and divine protection for each of our families. In addition, as we look forward, we pray that our families would be raised to the level of importance and influence in our society, as that of the families of the founding era of our nation.

Thank you for the work of restoration that is beginning just now. Thank you as well for the return of education and welfare back to the role of the family from where they originated. And thank you most of all for the return to the bibilcal patterns concerning the family that were established long ago to lead and guide us here on the earth.

For it is in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray,
